Udaipur Wins National Water Award
Udaipur district recognised for completing 32,700 water-related projects through public participation and efficient execution
Udaipur, Nov 17, 2025 - Under the Jal Shakti Jan Bhagidari 1.0 initiative, Udaipur has secured third place in Category-2 of the Western Region. The district completed 32,700 water-related works, demonstrating excellent public participation and efficient implementation. Udaipur will receive Rs 1 crore in prize.
The National Water Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 18, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, where Riya Dabi, CEO of Udaipur District Council, will receive the honour on behalf of the district.
Under this campaign, Rajasthan has also been declared the third-best performing State in the country.
