The city of Udaipur witnessed a diverse range of weather conditions today, with a brief morning rain followed by sunny intervals and cloud cover in the evening. The Water Resources Department reported a notable increase in water levels at the TD Dam, attributed to recent rains that added approximately one foot to the dam's water level.
According to official records, varying amounts of rainfall were recorded in different areas. The Deya Dam area received a substantial 4 inches of rainfall over the past 24 hours, while Jhadol and Kotra areas experienced 3 inches of rainfall each. In addition, Sei Dam and Udaipur city recorded 2 inches and 1 inch of rainfall, respectively.
The morning commenced with heavy rainfall in multiple parts of Udaipur city, leading to a rise in the water level of the TD Dam. However, as the day progressed, the weather cleared up, and the city experienced sunny conditions during the afternoon. Nonetheless, intermittent sunshine was observed as clouds gathered in the evening.
