After spending nearly seven years in jail in the much hyped Sohrabuddin fake encounter case, Dinesh M.N. the IPS from Rajasthan finally got some relief as the Mumbai High Court granted bail to him along with two other suspended cops Abhay Chudasama, and ML Parmar on Monday upon a bond of one lakh.

The people in Udaipur cherished and rejoiced as the news spread rapidly like fire from one to another over social sites and text messages. Various organization cracked fireworks and distributed sweets to mark the celebration.

Dinesh MN had served as the Superintendent of Police Udaipur and was known for his hard honesty and diligence. He had gained immense popularity and respect from the common for his reformatory measures to curb crime and criminals in the city. His arrest followed soon after he was transferred from Udaipur to Alwar then, which had come as a great shock for the public and his department people who had even collected alms to help the cop contest the case in Supreme Court.

It was for the first time that the city people and police jointly held a movement pleading for the cause of Dinesh M.Ns release. Three other cops from Udaipur namely CI Abdul Rahman, SI ShyamSingh and Himanshu Singh are also still in Mumbai jail in the same case.
