Udaipur Scouts and Rovers to Receive State Awards
Scouts and Rovers from Udaipur and Salumber will participate in the State Award ceremony in Jaipur from February 9–12, representing the district at the prestigious event
Udaipur, Feb 5, 2026 - The State Scout, Guide, Rover and Ranger award ceremony will be held from February 9 to 12 at the State Training Centre of Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides in Jagatpura, Jaipur. This will be held under the aegis of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides State Headquarters, Jaipur.
District Organisation Commissioner (Scout) Surendra Kumar Pandey said that for the year 2025-26, 115 Scouts and 11 Rovers from Udaipur district along with 27 Scouts from Salumber district have successfully cleared the State Award Scout and Rover evaluation process.
To represent the district at the ceremony, candidates are:
- Scouts Gagan Salvi, Maulik Garasia and Manan Menaria from The Scholar Arena Senior Secondary School, RK Puram, Sector 9
- Scout Mridul Puri Goswami from The Vision Academy Senior Secondary School
- Rover Virendra Singh Chundawat from the Headquarters Open Rover Crew
Scouter and Senior Training Counsellor Bhagwati Lal Sahu of The Scholar Arena Senior Secondary School will lead the delegation as the district-in charge.
The State Award Scout and Rover certificates will be presented by the Governor of Rajasthan, Haribhau Bagade. Senior State organisation officials, public representatives, education officers and other guests will be present on the occasion.
