3 skaters from Udaipur who are on a mission to spread awareness for the honour of Indian Army and Indian daughters reached Delhi on Tuesday. These skaters took 9 days to reach Delhi from Udaipur. The 3 proud skaters reached Delhi amidst scorching heat and heavy traffic.

As per coach Manjeet Singh of Shri Ram Skating Club, Jagat Pratap Singh Gehlot, Krishna Kanwar Gehlot and Jia Kanwar Badgurjar left Udaipur for Delhi on 26th March. They reached Delhi on 3rd April around 1935 hours. The 3 skaters were welcomed and blessed by General GD Bakshi. During the entire journey, the 3 proud skaters were showered with words of encouragement from children, army and police at various points. It may be noted that in 2007 skaters from the same club had covered this distance in 10 days but these enthusiastic children took a day less and reached in 9 days.

The 3 skaters will stay in Delhi for 4 days and meet President Kovind and Prime Minister Modi. Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria made all arrangements for safety of these 3 skaters on Rajasthan borders. On the way to Delhi, the skaters were supported by Chirag, Pushpendra and Wing Commander Dr. Pukhraj.
