Udaipur, January 2, 2025 – A group of young sketchers brought in the new year in Udaipur through a midnight sketch walk from Jagdish Temple to Daiji Ki Pulia. It was the last sketch meet of this year for the artists of Kashti Foundation and Urban Sketchers Global group. More than two dozen artists participated in the walk and showed their artistic skills through sketches which were displayed at Gangaur Ghat.

Sunil S Laddha, the head of Urban Sketchers and a renowned architectural expert, applauded the young people’s commitment to sketching and described the art as one which provide overall mental satisfaction to the artist. He added that the piece of art was created by a blend of the artist’s imagination and reality, he added.

Shradha Murdia from the Kashti Foundation praised the sketch workshops and sketch walks that had taken place in the previous year in the city, recognising them as commendable acts of art creation and commitment. She spoke of the foundation’s commitment to encouraging art and artists.

On this occasion, several artists like Hemant Joshi, Rahul Mali and Nilofar Munir apart from sketchers were present.
