On Sunday, January 14, 2024, the road from Samor Bag to Dudh Talai Marg created hassles for both locals and tourists due to ongoing water pipe repairs for the Smart City project. These repairs, lasting three days, made the road noisy and inconvenient for vehicle users.

Because it was a holiday and Makar Sankranti, more vehicles filled the road, leading to persistent traffic jams throughout the day. Surprisingly, there were no traffic police present to manage the situation. Residents in the area mentioned that daily traffic jams on this road were common, yet it seemed like no one was taking steps to address the issue.

The ongoing pipe repairs involved digging, resulting in a bumpy road surface. The condition was so severe that vehicles could only navigate slowly, one at a time, causing significant inconvenience.
