Udaipur to Leh on Motorcycle
Group of 9 people from Udaipur started a journey to Leh, Ladakh on their motorcycles. These highly spirited bikers will cover 4500 kms in 18 days.
Group of 9 people from Udaipur started a journey to Leh, Ladakh on their motorcycles. These highly spirited bikers will cover 4500 kms in 18 days.
This exploratory journey is surely going to be adventurous, though destination is far and heat is on its extreme yet they have planned to travel mostly in evening, for 8 hours per day to cover the set distance.
Their rout will be Udaipur – Ajmer – Delhi – Chandigarh – Manali – Leh – Khardung La, in this rout most exciting and also the toughest one will be Manali to Leh as this will be longest and have major landscapes. Khardung La is World’s highest motorable pass.
These motorcyclists will travel under the leadership of Akhtar Khan – Lakecity Press Club President and Imran Sheikh- Businessman from Ahmadabad, other biker includes Monto Khan, Mohammad Shakir, Arshad, Anwar, Dilfariyad, Rafiq and Nafees.
The faction gathered at Lake City Press Club office at 4 pm today for a small get- together, Govind Gupta -I.G. for Udaipur was invited as guest and members of press club with friends and relatives of motorists were also present there. Govind Gupta showed flag and throttle was applied to bikes, with best wishes and safe journey.
As planned, there first halt will be at Ajmer, there the bikers will offer Ziarat at Ajmer’s Dargah on Urs of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti on 9th . From there they will continue trip for Delhi.
Most Important part of this voyage is their motto, the group aims to spread message of peace and harmony to the world and places they visit.
