Udaipur, known as the city of lakes, is facing a rise in crime alongside its popularity as a tourist destination. This is not a good situation, but the numbers show that in the previous year, the entire state had over 3,17,480 reported cases.

Surprisingly, Udaipur stood out with the highest count, having 12,781 cases alone. The increase in crime is a concerning trend for this picturesque city. 

For the first time, Udaipur has the most reported cases. Looking at the yearly trend, in the past six years, the number of cases has doubled. Last year, Udaipur had the highest number, but in the four years before that, Alwar was leading, and Udaipur was second. Before 2018, Jaipur East and West were in first and second places, while Udaipur was sixth. In 2017, Alwar had the most cases, and Udaipur was fifth.
