Under the Ayushman Digital India Mission, the medical department of Udaipur has achieved a significant milestone. It has become the top performer in the state by creating over 28 lakh 54 thousand Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA IDs).

In Salumber district alone, more than 52,000 ABHA IDs have been created. This is part of a larger goal to establish 35 lakh 58 thousand IDs. So far, 82% of the target has been reached, linking many people to their health accounts.

CMHO Dr. Shankar Lal Bamnia explained that every individual is being given a health card through this mission. The aim is to digitize health records. CHOs, ANMs, and ASHAs from the medical department are creating IDs on various portals. These records include medical history, lab tests, doctor’s prescriptions, and vaccination details. This digital system will simplify accessing past treatments when needed.
