Udaipur tourism blooms during Diwali festivities
Tourism at its peak in Udaipur in 2019.
Udaipur is witnessing a good number of tourists since the commencement of vacations in schools. Beginning with the Dussehra holidays, tourists started flocking into Lake City and by the season of Diwali festivities, the city bloomed with tourists where Gujarati tourists outnumbered the others. It happens every year that Gujaratis flock in Udaipur during the festival of lights and the city becomes jam-packed. The roads, the tourist spots, the eating joints, the parking areas...every place can be seen full.As per reports, Saheliyon ki Bari had 6100 tourists this season. It may be noted that the season has just begun and all hopes are on that the tourist numbers will go much beyond in comparison to last year and the year before that.
Just 2 days ago, the roads were packed, traffic was moving at snail's pace and local public could be seen  fuming due to delay in reaching to their destinations. The over flowing lakes are the biggest attraction this year and is drawing in tourists even more.
