Starting in September, the Vande Bharat train running between Udaipur and Jaipur will be extended to operate from Udaipur to Agra Fort via Kota.
Changes Due to Low Passenger
Currently, the Vande Bharat train runs between Udaipur and Jaipur six days a week. However, due to low passenger load, this will change. There may also be changes in its halt stations and operation timings.
Three Days a Week
The train will run on this new route three days a week: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. On Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, it will continue to operate between Udaipur and Jaipur.
Change in Timings
The train numbers for the Udaipur-Jaipur route and the Udaipur-Kota-Agra Fort route will be different. Right now, the Vande Bharat departs from Udaipur City at 7:50 AM and arrives in Jaipur at 2:10 PM.
From September, it will depart 2 hours and 5 minutes earlier at 5:45 AM. It will then pass through Kota and reach Agra at 2:30 PM. The train will leave Agra at 3:00 PM and return to Udaipur via Kota, arriving at 11:45 PM.
A new fare list is being prepared for this new route. Passengers will be able to book tickets both online and offline.
