The chill factor at Udaipur alongwith a few other district in Rajasthan is set to turn on this week, with the temperature showing a noticeable dip in the last 24 hours.
As per the Met department, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota and Ajmer are expected to see another couple of days of rainfall between 2-5 December, which will be followed by dipping temperatures. Hail storms are also expected in a few places this week. The heavy winter rain a few days ago saw a substantial and unexpected increase in the water levels, and now the scattered moderate session of rain will result in dipping temperatures, ensuring that the chill factor carries on throughout the day.
As per the Jaipur Met department, a western disturbances is getting active and this will cause scattered rain in Udaipur and Kota. The effect of this disturbance will prolong over a few more days and rains are expected over Udaipur, Rajsamand, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Pali, Chittor, Kota, Bhilwara, Jhalawar, Baran, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk. Apart from these, some areas around Ajmer, Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Dhaulpur and Karauli will also get moderate rain.
