Having completed his studies from The Study Senior Secondary School, Lt. Paramveer is the Fourth consecutive student of the school selected for the Indian Army.

Son of Bharti and Sudhir Singh Rathore, Paramveer is also the first member of his family in the Indian Army. “Throughout my training including clearing NDA after 4 unsuccessful attempts, I received continuous support by my family, especially from my grandfather Laxman Singh Devda” said Paramveer, while talking to UT.

Sudhir Singh, father of Paramveer owns a business in Udaipur, while Paramveer’s younger brother Paramjeet studies in the XIth standard and is already walking on the footsteps of his elder brother. He is preparing for the NDA exam.

Besides his active participation in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in school and college, Paramveer has graduated in Engineering (Electronics and Communication) from the Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies.

Subsequent to receiving ‘C’ certificate in NCC, joining the Army was the only destination for young Paramveer Singh. “I never left the NCC because joining the Indian Army was my ultimate goal, I could not make it in the NDA even after four attempts, but I kept myself boosted with self confidence and energy,” he said.

“Indian Army is not a job, it’s a way of Life” he expressed proudly.
