First trial on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad broad gauge converted line took place between Raigarh and Himmatnagar station. The trial went off smoothly.

First trial on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad broad gauge converted line took place between Raigarh and Himmatnagar station. The trial went off smoothly.

Railway conservation commissioner Sushil Chandra, Ajmer division DRM Rajesh Kashyap, Senior Operations Manager Jus Ram Meena and others carried out the trial inspection.

Work on this 299km stretch is going on in full flow. Rest of the work after construction of bridges, stone laying, track linking is now being done at good speed.

The next trial will be conducted between Udaipur and Kharwa. It may be noted that there are around 90 underpass, 10 railway over bridge and 650 small bridges between Udaipur and Himmatnagar.
