Udaipur will soon have a helicopter service to Ahmedabad airport. This service will be started by Mewar Helicopter company shortly. A helipad is also set to start near Pratap Gaurav Kendra.

Mewar Helicopter company is currently operating out of Udaipur airport and provides people with an opportunity to do air travel of Udaipur.

UIT is set to start a new helipad near Pratap Gaurav Kendra. The helipad has already been leased by Mewar Helicopter Company for 10 years. For people wanting to do an aerial round of Udaipur, they will no longer have to go to airport to get the services from helipad near Pratap Gaurav Kendra.

Mewar Helicopter Company will also utilize the opportunity and launch direct helicopter service to Ahmedabad airport. There is currently no aerial connectivity between Udaipur and Ahmedabad.

The helipad will also be used as a landing space for Government choppers. The helipad will have parking facility for 2 helicopters.
