Owing to heavy rainfall in the north eastern railway belts of Katiyar Mandal and Alipur, a number of trains have been affected. Udaipur-New Jalpaiguri train service has also been affected in that regard.

Chief Public Officer, Tarun Jain of North Western Railway informed that Udaipur-New Jalpaiguri trains leaving on 30-Sept and 7-Oct have been cancelled. Similarly, the return leg of these trains leaving New Jalpaiguri on 2-Oct and 9-Oct also stands cancelled.
