Jitendra Patel was felicitated by a number of groups in Udaipur for bagging the title.

 

Udaipur's Jitendra Patel bagged the title of Iron Man in Australia on 1st December. An event was conducted in Australia which comprised of racing and swimming events. Jitendra Patel brought honour to Udaipur by becoming the 2nd Iron Man of Udaipur and the 8th one in the state of Rajasthan. 

Jitendra informed that he completed the swimming event in 1 hour 46 minutes where the waves were high and the distance was around 3.8 kms. He also finished the 180 km cycling event in 6 hours 39 minutes. The 3rd and the most challenging event the running event wherein the 42 km race was completed by him in 5 hours 24 minutes. 

When Jitendra brought the prestigious title back to Udaipur, he was felicitated by Mewari Runners, Udaipur Cycling Club and Lake City Runners Club. Among those present during the felicitation ceremony were Shakti Singh Dulawat, Dilip Soni, Luvdev Bagdi, Prakash Mali,  Digvijay Singh Rathore, Lalit Singh Solanki, Pradeep Yadav, Abhijeet Singh, Pradhyman Singh Jhala, Sunil Kumawat, Karan Singh Rao, Rahul Ranka, Rishabh Jain and a lot others.
