A resident of Udaipur Shipra Agarwal will complete her resolution to clean the lakes of Udaipur in the New Year. Godrej has awarded her amount of Rs. 1.5 Lac as the prize money in their competition LOUD – Live Out Your Dream where she submitted the project on the same topic.

The project that she submitted includes the cleaning of the lakes of Udaipur and installation of the dustbins around it.

With the help of Lake Conservation groups including Jheel Sanrakshan Samiti, Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust, Chandpol Lake Society, Jheel Hiteshi Manch and Jwala Society, the cleaning program will commence from ‘Ganguar Ghat’ tomorrow.

Under the program she will be installing 9 dustbins on the Ghat and will carry out cleaning around the waters of the Ghat. With the prize money she will also provide a boat and some tools for cleaning.

On the occasion of commencement of the program, Mayor Rajni Dangi, Health Committee Chairman Paras Singhvi, Commissioner Himmat Singh Barahath and former Councilor Dinesh Gupta have been invited.
