Vijay Singh Bapna of Udaipur, presently residing in Mumbai has been appointed at the International President of Mahaveer International, a social association, which is working since 1975 in the field of making the society clean and green.

The oath taking ceremony of Bapna and his Executive committee will be held on Sunday at the Auditorium of Gitanjali Medical College in which the Home Minister of the State, Gulab Chand Kataria will be present as the Chief Guest.

While addressing a press conference on Friday, Bapna said that their association is moving ahead with their motive of spreading peace, harmony and prosperity with its 410 branches spread across the country.

“Mahaveer International is one such organization, which is purely public oriented and working for the betterment of society, not only in India but also in various other countries. This association is not oriented towards any particular religion or caste but is open for all people who want to give their services to people”, said Bapna.

Bapna further informed that their association works towards providing education to under privileged children, jobs to youth and works towards making the society a better and hygienic place to live in.

“Working on these parameters, the association, under its Green India Operation, has planted around 7.5 lakh plants all over the country in the last 2.5 years and has recently started working on the Prime Ministers Clean India Mission”, Vijay added.

Program organizer, Raj Lodha informed that on 5th April the Oath taking ceremony of the newly constituted Executive Committee will be held in which around 500 members will participate from across the country.

Bapna, while talking to media also highlighted one of their prominent project “Baby Kit“ under which they distribute Baby kits to all those people who cannot afford clean and hygienic cloths for their newly born babies and till now lakhs of such Baby kits have been distributed by them.
