On May 22, 2024, morning, the Udaipur Municipal Corporation took action by demolishing unauthorized shops located near the Hathi Pol Mosque. This action comes after earlier directives were issued to shopkeepers to remove encroachments. As a result, the corporation initiated a demolition drive targeting shops in the vicinity of Hathi Pol.

Anti-Encroachment Drive at Bhupalpura 

Starting from Math Park in the Bhupalpura police station area, the municipal team extended their operation to the road leading to the American Hospital. During this operation, they confiscated unauthorized hoarding boards that were placed along the road, thereby ensuring the road was free from encroachments.

The entire operation was conducted under the watchful eyes of the police and Home Guard personnel. Municipal officials also played an active role throughout the process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
