Udaipur, December 11,2024 - The Udaipur Municipal Corporation has taken strict action against littering in the city. After issuing warnings for four days, fines were imposed on cart operators found spreading garbage from Udiapole to Rampura via Mallatalai.

Inspection by Health Department Team

On Tuesday, the Health Department team carried out an inspection to check the cleanliness of the city. The inspection started in the evening at the Udiapol intersection. At the Udiapole intersection, near the Roadways Bus Stand, five cart operators were caught littering the area. The team issued a fine of Rs 500/- to each of them.

Further Inspections at Mallatalai and Rampura

The team continued their inspection from Mallatalai to Rampura intersection. During this inspection, three more cart operators were fined for spreading garbage.

Health Officer Satyanarayan Sharma and Health Inspector Narendra Shrimali were present during the inspection and enforcement action.
