Udaipur Municipal Council has taken a step further to execute Golf Cart services at Fateh Sagar and Gulab Bagh by issuing contracts to private companies today. These carts will be used as public transport for ferrying people for short distances.

The Contract will be given for six Golf Carts for five years at each of the locations and there will be four and six seater cars.

These pollution free Golf Carts at Fatehsagar will be run from the P.P Singhal Marg to Fatehsagar Gate at Dewali and at Gulab Bagh it will be run inside its premises.

Various rules have been laid down by the council for applicants who apply for the contract, which have to be followed by them, failing which it may lead to rejection of the application or cancellation of the already acquired contract.

The Municipal Council has fixed rates at which this service will be given to the passengers and it is mandatory upon the contractors to charge the same prices from the customers. This service will be free for physically handicapped people.
