University and College elections in Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology were held today from 8am to 1pm.

Elections were held for College Level Students Union and Central Students Union. Praveen Kumar and Avni Chandelia are elected for posts of President and General Secretary of MPUAT.

Participating colleges were Rajasthan College of Agriculture, College of Technology And Engineering, College of Dairy and Food Science Technology, Home Science College, College of Fisheries, Udaipur and Jawahar Lal College.

There was a tough competition between candidates at CTAE college for the posts of college president, general secretary and joint secretary.

Elections for College Level Students Union were not held in Home Science college as the candidates for different posts were elected unopposed by the students.

Chief Electoral Officer Dr. N.S. Rathore headed the oath ceremony for CSU candidates.
