Relieving the dwellers from the problem of drinking water, a water tank with capacity of 10 lakh litres is soon to be made. This news is certainly good news for the residents of Purohiton ki Madri area. As per sources, land has been allotted for this purpose. NOC for this land specifies that the land will not be used for any purpose other than water tank. If at all, the instructions are not followed NOC will stand cancelled. 900 sq.ft. land has been allotted for the construction of water tank.

Areas benefitting from the water tank are Surya Nagar, Arihant Vihar colony, Akashwani colony, Railway colony, Math Madri, Kachchi Basti, Udai Vihar, Riico Residential area, Gopinagar and Bhoiwada. Foundation for water tank will be laid as soon as finances are issued by the Mayor.
