Advocate Neeta Sharma committed suicide around 10 months back. Her death is still a mystery.Chetan Menaria, an advocate and colleague of Neeta Sharma was accused of Abetment of suicide as per reports of the deceased lawyer’s father.

Arrest of Chetan Menaria had received a stay from District Court earlier but the same has been lifted on Monday. It may be noted that Advocate Neeta and Advocate Chetan Menaria were practising together since years. They even shared the same chamber in court. In June 2017 Neeta Sharma was found in an unconscious state outside Mahakaleshwar Temple. She was admitted to MB hospital but she could not survive. Her father Dilip Sharma had accused Advocate Chetan Menaria for creating situations for her where after she committed suicide. Chetan Menaria had appealed in High Court to cancel this FIR submitted by the family members of Neeta which was rejected by the court.

Udaipur District Court rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Chetan Menaria. It may also be noted that statements of fellow lady advocates and Kapil Sharma were also taken in this case.
