UPSC CSE 2025 Result Out; Rajasthan’s Anuj Agnihotri Tops
Rajasthan’s Anuj Agnihotri, an AIIMS Jodhpur graduate and DANICS probationer, tops the exam; a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for IAS, IFS, IPS and other central service
March 6, 2026 – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 was released on Friday (March 6). Rajasthan’s Anuj Agnihotri, an AIIMS Jodhpur graduate and also a DANICS probationer, has topped the CSE exam. As always in the past, UPSC usually declares the final result within about a week after the interviews end.
According to an official PIB notification, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services – Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. The candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional and the results of two candidates have been withheld, UPSC said while announcing the UPSC CSE 2025 result.
The prelims were held on May 25, 2025, while the main examination was conducted from August 22 to August 31, 2025. The personality test or interview, ended on February 27, 2026.
