Ashes of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will reach Udaipur tomorrow (Friday). Some of the ashes will be immersed by State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria at Beneshwar dham.

Ashes of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will reach Udaipur tomorrow (Friday). Some of the ashes will then be immersed by State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria at Beneshwar dham.

This is part of BJP’s ‘Asthi Kalash Yatra’. BJP is taking out yatras with the urn carrying ashes of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in all the districts and immersing those ashes in rivers across the country.

The urn containing the ashes is currently in Jaipur. Chunnilal Garasiya, Deputy President of BJP in Rajasthan will carry the urn from Jaipur to Mewar on Thursday to reach on Friday. The urn will be kept at the party office situated at Patel Circle. The urn will remain there on Friday night.

On Saturday, the urn will be taken along with a yatra to Banswara after passing through Reti stand, Sector 9 Savina Chouraha, Titardi and Dakan Kotra. At Beneshwar Dham, the ashes will be immersed into Beneshwar Dham in presence of Gulab Chand Kataria.

Objective of this yatra is to allow party workers and people from different walks of life to pay a final floral tribute to the departed soul of one of India’s finest Prime Minister.
