Udaipur City: In an effort to alleviate traffic congestion in the Udaipur’s Wall City area, the traffic police have initiated a campaign aimed at creating a smoother flow of vehicles. On May 13, 2024,  enforcement actions were taken from Udiapole Gate to the Ice Factory.

DSP Netrapal Singh, providing insight into the situation, highlighted the prevalence of hotels and shops from Udiapole to Hotel Maan and onward to the Ice Factory. Unfortunately, these establishments lack designated parking spaces, resulting in patrons often resorting to haphazard parking on the streets, exacerbating traffic issues.

The enforcement team, deployed on Monday afternoon, diligently cleared unorganized parked vehicles along the designated route, particularly focusing on cars and two-wheelers causing obstructions. Additionally, strict instructions were issued to shop and hotel owners, mandating compliance with parking regulations to avoid further disruptions.

Despite efforts to encourage patrons to utilize nearby parking facilities, the warning remains clear. Action will be taken against any continued instances of unorganized parking.
