On Monday, July 29, 2024 the Udaipur traffic police took action against vehicles parked in the no-parking zone outside Lake City Mall. They seized 15 two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Additionally, 40 fines were issued to offenders.

Traffic DSP Netrapal Singh stated that many visitors to the mall park their vehicles on the road leading to Subhash Nagar.

This illegal parking causes traffic jams on the newly constructed road. The congestion affects traffic flow up to the Ayad bridge. The traffic police are working to ensure smoother movement and reduce jams in the area.
