Venus Transit to be Telecasted at Solar Observatory
The scientists from SPACE (Science Popularization Association of Communicators and Educators) came forward to interact with the common public of Udaipur today, to make them aware of the ‘Venus Transit’ to be telecasted on 6th June at the Solar Observatory, Fateh Sagar Lake.

The scientists from SPACE (Science Popularization Association of Communicators and Educators) came forward to interact with the common public of Udaipur today, to make them aware of the ‘Venus Transit’ to be telecasted on 6th June at the Solar Observatory, Fateh Sagar Lake.
The General Public at Fateh Sagar saw Venus with the help of a Ball Projector, which was organized by the SPACE representatives. “It was part of our public outreach program, along with pointing out that the web-telecast of Venus Transit on 6th June, 2012 is open for all”, said Rishabh Jain, representative, SPACE.

According to Jain, on 6th June Wednesday, modules from different corners of the world, viz. Australia, Shanghai and Nepal in addition to the equipment setup from Udaipur would be brought together and would be telecast on the web. The same will be telecast for the general mass on the same day at the Solar Observatory at Fatah Sagar, Udaipur.
Rishabh Jain, along with his assistant, 2 college students and 2 school students conducted the public outreach program at Fatah Sagar paal today.
