This is just another story of corruption, the difference is that some people are seen giving bribe and some captured it in a video enabled mobile phone and send it to us. Excerpt from a mail UT had received this morning from whistle blower citizen. “I was charging my phone and returning back to my seat when I saw few passengers were talking to TTE near the gate… I stopped there because TTE was saying “1600 ka 1200 kr diya ab tum log bol rhe ho 1000 le lo…kirane ki dukaan h kya, railway ko waise hi 400 ka nuksaan ho rha hai” I understood that he was asking for bribe and turned on video recording on my mobile. If he was charging fine he must have charged Rs1600 and given them the receipt but he didn’t. After final settlement the passenger gave two Rs 500 note and two Rs100rs. note TTE. He kept those in his pocket saying “ ye is train ka problem hai baki to hamesha sab log fatafat haath kholte hai” He didn’t even give any receipt of fine to the passenger which again proves that he has taken bribe. He took the money and the tickets and went away”.
