Vidyapeeth General Council Sacks Praful Nagar
The General Council meeting of Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth University (Deemed) concluded today at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Management Studies, JRNRVU, Pratapnagar under the guidance of Prof. Lokesh Bhatt, Former Vice Chancellor who was representing the Chancellor.
The General Council meeting of Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth University (Deemed) concluded today at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Management Studies, JRNRVU, Pratapnagar under the guidance of Prof. Lokesh Bhatt, Former Vice Chancellor who was representing the Chancellor.
The meeting was led by Dr. Prakash Sharma, Registrar, JRNRVU.
In the meeting, Praful Nagar was sacked from his post of Kul Pramukh for promoting negative actions against JRNRVU and illegally posting himself as the Chancellor. The tenure of Nagar’s post was till June, 2013. It was also decided that Bhanwarlal Gurjar who is completing his time period on the post of Sangathan Sachiv on 31st Aug,2012 won’t be nominated for the same post again, considering his illegitimate actions.
As per the context, on 10th July, 2012; the Upper District and Session Court (Fast Track No. 2) ruled out the appeal of Praful Nagar, Kul Parmukh, JRNRVU in which he asked the court to suspend the investigation which were initiated against him by Prof. Bhawani Shankar Garg, Chancellor, JRNRVU.
The court states that, primarily the resignation of Prof. Bhawani Shankar Garg was not accepted and also the post of Chancellor is prime then the Kul Pramukh; and the investigation is initiated by Chancellor.
The General Council also decided to demolish the set pattern of election and selection procedure for Administrative posts and would be re-drafting it to bring more transparency.
Dr. S.S. Sarangdevot did the welcoming speech and informed that in the near future, Vidhyapeeth would be starting fresh courses of employment genre in the Janbharti Kendra. Additionally, there would be employment drives, Nasha Mukti Abhiyan, Health drives and Small-scale industry courses would be facilitated.
Prof. Lokesh Bhatu said, “A 3-year plan should be made, and known personnel from the city should be included with Vidhyapeeth and there should be a plan to increase the monetary input in the organization”.
The MoU signed with Vijay Education Trust and Vidhyapeeth was also wiped out including the demolishment of trust deed with Vijay Singh Pathik Shramjeevi College and a committee would be formed to review the whole situation.
The Memorandum to UGC was sent after passing the UGC Gazette Regulation 2010 (Deemed University) by the Board of Members.
The officials including Dr. Balwant Parimal, Prof. K.K. Jacob, Prof. Manohar Singh Ranawat, Advocate Ramesh Nandwana, Indira Rajpurohit, Sushil Dashora, Shyam Sunder Nandwana, Prof. N.S. Rao, Dr. Sashi Chittora, Dr. Rajan Sood, Dr. S.B. Nagar, Dr. S.K. Mishra, Dr. Manish Shrimali, Arun Paneri, Chandreshekhar, Riyaz Hussain, Dr. Pradeep Punjabi, Dr. C.P. Agrawal, Dr. L.N. Nandwana, Subhash Bohra, Dr. lalit Pandey, Dr. Saroj Garg, Dr. Hemshankar Dadheech, Shankar Lal Sharma, Dr. Narendra Pandya, Dr. Harish Sharma and others were present in the meeting.
