Rajasthan Vidyapeeth will honor people who have contributed to the benefit and development of society and have done valuable work in different fields.  The felicitation program will be held on 21^st August on the occasion of 77^th Foundation Day of Vidyapeeth.

Vice Chancellor Professor. S.S. Sarangdevot informed that the personalities who contributed in the field of Education, Literature, Sports, Environment, Science, etc will be honored under the National, State and District Level.

Informing about the program schedule, Dr. Prakash Sharma, Registrar said that the program will start at 10:30 am in Computer Science and IT Auditorium, Pratap Nagar on 21 Aug.

The program inauguration will be done by Chancellor Prof. Bhawani Shankar Garg while the Chief Guest will be Nadira Babbar, a well known theatre actress and Director.

Prof. Aniruddh Purohit (Hyderabad Nuerosurgery NIMS) and T.C Damor (vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University) will be the Special Guests. The former Income Tax Commissioner H.C Parikh will head the program.

The awards are have been named Samaj Vibhuti Samman and Utkrisht Seva Samman. The names of the awardees are Nadira Babbar, Vice Chancellor T.C Damor, Dr. Aniruddh Purohit, Pandit Narendra Mishr, International Umpire Raghuveer Singh and Snake Catcher Chaman Singh.

The people who will be honored for their services in Vidyapeeth are Ratan Singh (Driver), Heeralal Choubisa (Caretaker), Dr. Devendra Ameta (Assistant Professor), Dr. Sunita Singh (Assistant Professor), Ranjana Agarwal (Professor) and Dr. Prakash Sharma (Professor).

According to Chancellor Prof. Bhawani Shankar Garg, Vidyapeeth has honored many national level personalities in past including Acharya Tulsi, Prithiviraj Kapoor, Dr. Karan Singh, Saleem Durrani, Mangi Bai ( Mand Singer), Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Former Chief Minister Mohanlal Sukhadia, Freedom Fighter Manikyalal Verma, Rajesh Pilot, Dr. O.P Deval, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, etc.
