Udaipur, March 6, 2025 - Dr Vishwa Mehta of Udaipur was honoured with the prestigious Maharana Mewar Bhamashah Award at the 41st Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Award Ceremony held at the City Palace, Udaipur, on March 2.

The awards was conferred by Maharaja Kumar Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, member of the erstwhile Royal family of Mewar, on behalf of the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation of Udaipur to Dr Mehta for his outstanding academic excellence at the State level.

Dr Mehta was University MBBS topper and gold medalist and has also received the  Best Graduate Award from his University. He is currently pursuing an MD - Post Graduation from RNT Medical College.

Dr Mehta has credited his achievements to the faculty and seniors at his institution.

“Humbled for this honour, award, prize, reward and everything. Would never have been possible without blessings of God, parents and guidance of esteemed faculties and seniors throughout this MBBS Journey at GMCH,” Dr Mehta wrote on his LinkedIn page.

Bhamashah Award is a State-level academic honour presented to a student for university level academic distinction in MBBS stream in Rajasthan by the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation of Udaipur.
