Voice of India: Anna, 9th day of Anshan [pics and video]
It’s the 9th consecutive day and more and more people are joining the mass battle started by a simple looking old man against corruption and the movement is getting stronger and stronger.
By every passing day, instead of people who generally lose interest in anshaan, andolan and pradarshan this time it is nothing less than a miracle.
It’s the 9th consecutive day and more and more people are joining the mass battle started by a simple looking old man against corruption and the movement is getting stronger and stronger.
However, Anna is losing health as he is on no-food since last 10 days. Government is trying out its means to break Anna’s fast but Anna is in no mood to do so before anything acceptable is done by the Government. Acceptable is just one thing “Passing Jan Lokpal Bill”.
Indians all over India and world are getting united with one aim, clean up this mess, let’s support Anna.Udaipur is not left behind in raising voice against corruption and supporting Anna Hazae’s movement.
video by Harsh Dev Singh at Ram leela ground- DelhiHarshdev Singh Mahiyarya ( in photo below) an hotelier from Udaipur, who actively supported Anna, visited Ram Leela Maidan a few days back. He called us and shared his experiences in Delhi. Harsh said, “I never saw such a patriotic atmosphere anywhere in my life; lakhs of people from all over the country are coming to Ram Leela Ground every day. Wearing Anna style cap, holding Indian national flag, some displaying banner and some arranging food and water for others.
I saw one man, a local caterer who made a small hut like structure and named it Anna ki Rasoi to serve people breakfast, lunch and dinner for free. Everything comes from donation and it is something another example of serving humanity.
From Anna ki Rasoi at Raam Leela Ground to India Gate, Delhi is well gripped with Anna and his followers; infact whole of Delhi is Anna’s followers and supporters now. Metro stations, restaurants, roads, buses everywhere there is Anna and JanLlokpalbill” says Harsh via phone.

Here in Udaipur, every day one or two groups belonging to some NGO or education group protest outside the Collectorate or at Lake Fatahsagar.
A few students started their protest along with their friends and relatives at Fateh Sagar. They arranged for a candle light march, with drums. And all one could hear was the echoing of “lok pall bill lana hei, brashtachar mitana hei”.
“We’ll carry on the protest till we get a positive answer from the govt.”, says Aadesh Singhvi student of BMS (AIMS). When asked about the future plans Nishit Surana, a student of Chartered Accountancy said, “We will march from Fateh Sagar to the Collectory on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m”
The teachers also participated with the students of AIMS in the march to support Anna’s mission. The response of the Udaipurities towards the protest was positive, and people joined in for the noble cause enchanting the slogans.
“We’ll be here every evening at 6:00 p.m, no matter what, if Anna can stake his life for our future, we owe him this much.” said the students. Everyone is invited….!!
