Wall to stop contaminated water from falling into Pichola
Inform Pollution Control Board if you see any kind of dirt or wastage falling into the lakes.
Contaminated water was falling into Lake Pichola at the Ring Road side in Eklavya Colony area. As per reports, the source of this contaminated water is a hotel in Haridas ji ki Magri.
Some aware citizens tried to bring attention of administration towards this issue, which was noticed by Pollution Control Board (PCB). The officers Sharad Saxena and VK Soni of PCB then went with these aware citizens and observed the site. It was noticed that the water from the back side of a hotel in Haridas ji ki Magri was constantly flowing into the lake hence contaminating it. A sample of the water has also been taken for lab test to check if it has sewerage content in it.

The officers also appealed that if anyone notices dirty water or any kind of wastage into the lakes, they must inform Pollution Control Board immediately. Relevant photographs must also support the complaint.
