Contaminated water was falling into Lake Pichola at the Ring Road side in Eklavya Colony area. As per reports, the source of this contaminated water is a hotel in Haridas ji ki Magri.

Some aware citizens tried to bring attention of administration towards this issue, which was noticed by Pollution Control Board (PCB). The officers Sharad Saxena and VK Soni of PCB then went with these aware citizens and observed the site. It was noticed that the water from the back side of a hotel in Haridas ji ki Magri was constantly flowing into the lake hence contaminating it. A sample of the water has also been taken for lab test to check if it has sewerage content in it.
