There is scarcity of water but liquor is easily available in villages. This was observed by students who visited certain villages under the banner of All India Students Committee program ‘Anubhuti-2018’.

The students visited 94 villages with base camps at Kotda, Salumber and Jhadol. In the first stage of Anubhuti-2018 which ended on Wednesday, 475 students observed that villages have water scarcity but liquor is easily available and consumption of liquor among women is quite common. There is shortage of teachers in government schools and complaints of people not getting any benefits of government schemes are coming from all corners.

Students lived in villages with and tried to understand the lifestyles of villagers. They even made efforts to find out the problems saved by residents of the particular area they lived in. Students also visited fields and observed the mechanisms used by farmers.
