Water scarcity is posing to be a big issue in Udaipur city. It was declared earlier that water will be supplied once in 72 hours.The 1^st stage of water supply once in 3 days began with Pratapnagar. Now some more areas will be affected by the system. This is likely to begin after 21^st May. The areas that fall under the second stage are:

Rampura, Sajjannagar, Rata Khet, Ram Manohar Lohiya Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Malla Talai, Brahmapole, Haridas ji ki Magri, OTC Scheme, Farooq Azam Nagar, Ambamata area, Chandpole, Rada ji choraha, Yadav Colony, Ambavgarh, Mission Compound, Daitya Magri, some part of Silawatwadi, Chetak, Madhuban, Shastri Circle, Court choraha, Ashwini Bazar, Hathipole area, Delhi Gate area, Bhupalpura, Ashok Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Dhabhai ji ki Baadi, Mahaveer Nagar, Rehman Colony and area near Lake City Mall.
