A wild and rare Indian Barn owl (Tyto Alba) has been rescued by the wild animal rescue center team from Boharwadi area today.

An owl was reportedly trapped in a kite thread and was seen hanging upside down at a tree near the Police Chowki at Boharwadi. Residents called the rescue team who reached the spot, but unlike other rescues this rescue was a typical one, as the owl was hanging upside down at a height of 50 feet.

Rescue team member, Suresh Meghwal, risking his life reached the top and with the help of a blade tied on a long stick freed the rare bird from the string, tied across the high branch of the tree.
