Udaipur, December 23,2024 - Winter vacations for government and private schools will be held from December 25, 2024, to January 6, 2025. Despite recent confusion among students, teachers, and parents, the Education Department has confirmed there will be no changes to the vacation schedule.

The confusion arose due to a meeting held at the Directorate to discuss winter vacations based on the prevailing cold weather. However, the Education Directorate clarified that the holidays will follow the Shivira calendar.

Education Director Sitaram Jat announced that the ongoing half-yearly examinations in schools will conclude on December 24. The winter vacation will begin the next day, as per the schedule.

Official orders confirming the vacation dates is expected be issued on Monday, December 23.
