In yet another incident of snatching bags from females, a woman got injured as 2 men pushed her scooty in order to snatch her handbag.The incident happened at around 8 pm near Lake City Garden at Mali Colony road on 31^st December. The woman got severely injured as a result of the fall.

Resident of sector 4 in Hiranmagri, Megha was followed by these 2 men from UIT circle. Their faces were covered and they rode a bike without number plate. They pulled at her handbag which was hung around her neck and pushed her scooty. Megha fell and was dragged with the scooty for a long distance. The men snatched her bag and sped away from the site. She got severely injured and was provided assistance by her friend who was at some distance away from her. Some people saw this and even went after the bikers but in vain. The handbag had cash, ATM card and some other documents.

Surajpole police reached and searched for the robbers but could not locate them anywhere in the absence of registration number. The young woman got too scared after this incident. She informed that there was a lot of public outside the garden but the robbers were too daring to commit this crime. As per police, this did not seem to be the same gang who has been snatching bags from ladies. Police is investigating the case seriously.
