Migrant workers numbering to 300 reached Ratanpur border on Monday in 80 vehicles. All the workers were screened by the medical team especially deployed to check each and every person before segregating them district wise.

It has been informed that this is the first phase of workers who had registered themselves from the non-hotspot areas of Gujarat. The medical team deployed to screen these workers consists of 50 doctors and 200 nursing staff.

All workers have been given food packets which were sanitised. These workers will be sent home directly and not kept in shelter homes as they have already undergone quarantine period fromt he time of registeration. They would be in home-quarantine at their respective residences.
