Railway Minister Mamta Bannerji appealed to Union Government for declaring Monday a national Holiday to celebrate victory.
‘Our leader Mamata Banerjee has appealed to the union government through Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to declare Monday as a national holiday so that whole of India can celebrate this win,’ Trinamool Congress and union Minister of State for Shipping Mukul Ray told to IANS. Trinamool sources informed that Mamata, during the conversation with Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, requested to the central government to declare Monday as a national holiday to fete India’s win.
