Workshop on Multimedia Sculptor Starts
A ten-day national level “Multimedia Sculptor Workshop” started from today at Shilgram’s Sangam Hall. The workshop is initiated by West Zone Cultural Centre to encourage and promote the art of sculpture making through various mediums.
A ten-day national level “Multimedia Sculptor Workshop” started from today at Shilgram’s Sangam Hall. The workshop is initiated by West Zone Cultural Centre to encourage and promote the art of sculpture making through various mediums.
The workshop was inaugurated by Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, L.R Singh, famous painter Mahendra Kadiya, Suresh Sharma and L.L Verma.
While addressing the present guests and audience, L.R Singh said, “Fusion is a new form of art which is well seen in music, now it is also gaining popularity in Fine Art. This workshop is an appreciable initiative.”
Artists Mahendra Kediya said that art works will be created on metal, wood, fiber, sand and stone.
While explaining the motive of the workshop, WZCC Director Shailendra Dashora said that there would be three main mediums that will be used in this workshop, and we want artists, using different mediums, to work together and learn each other’s techniques.
Artists from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu, Delhi, Maharasthra, Chandigarh and Tamil Nadu are participating in this workshop.
