World's Biggest Turban in display at Bagore Ki Haveli

Not only this, it also symbolizes the occasions as for every occasion different types of turbans are worn by the people.
Taking inspiration from these Turbans, an artist from Baroda has made the world’s biggest turban which is preserved now days by the west zone culture department and placed at Bagore Ki Haveli of Old city Udaipur.
The turban was made by the head of Dramatics department of Baroda University & it is now waiting to be booked its name in Guinness book of World Records to be the world’s biggest turban.
lyak Husain, officer of W.Z.C informed that it took 15 days for the artist of Baroda, Dr. Avanti La Chawla to make the turban and he used around 152 meter of cloth for making it, weighing around 30 kgs. The special feature of this turban is that it represents the turbans of the farmers wore by 3 different states. From its front it represents Rajasthan, & from its sides it represents Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
Husain said that Dr. Chawla had visited an exhibition of turban organized by West Zone Culture department in 1988 and from there he got the inspiration of doing some innovative with turban. Seeing the biggest turban of the world, the tourists are surprised and it has become a centre of attraction for them.
