Mewar public, rejoice!! The WOW news is here. A 10 rupees coin bearing the image of Mewar’s hero Maharana Pratap has been issued. As informed by a member of Lake City Numismatic Society, a bio metallic coin has been issued for the common public. Prior to this, Government of India had issued 1 rupee, 10 rupee and 100 rupee coins bearing Pratap’s image in 2003. Out of these only 1 rupee coin was in circulation, but now the 10 rupee coin will also be circulated in the market. Udaipur public is certainly going to love this.
