A 23-year-old man, resident of Hiran Magri was declared dead shortly after being admitted to the emergency ward at Maharana Bhopal Hospital today evening, in a serious condition.

The deceased, Luv Kumar Rathore allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his room.

According to sources, Luv Kumar Rathore, resident of Sector 4, Hiran Magri went to his room for rest after having lunch.  At around 4:30pm his brother noticed the room of Luv was open and when he looked inside, he saw Luv Kumar hanging from the ceiling fan.

Luv Kumar had lost his father a few years back.  He has completed his graduation lately.  There are no strong reasons that could lead to his taking such a step.

The body has been kept in the mortuary for autopsy.
