A youth was first hit by a car, then crushed to death in no time. The car driver made an attempt to escape but was followed by public and caught. On Thursday evening, Mohammed Akram who runs a loading vehicle and transports tyres was crushed to death. As per the eye witnesses, Akram had parked his vehicle on one side of the road and was crossing the road when an over speeding car coming from Savina side hit him. Akram got flunged off and fell right on the front mirror of the car, bounced and fell on the ground. As a result the car's screen broke. Despite this, the car driver did not stop and ran the car over Akram and sped away. Akram got crushed to death. 2 youths who were watching this went after the speeding car on their bike. These 2 youths stopped the car at Paras crossing and caught the man and handed him over to police. As per the youths, there was one more person in the car and he has also been arrested. The car driver has been identified as Babulal Damor.
