A heartbreaking incident took place in the vicinity of Zawar Mines police station, where a young man from Udaipur tragically lost his life after jumping in front of a train bound for Ahmedabad on May 9,2024, evening. The police reported that the train driver witnessed the youth's fatal decision, while family members revealed concerns about his unstable mental health. Additionally, it has been noted that the youth was deaf.

The deceased, identified as Prakash (25 years old), a resident of Sarasiya and son of Bhima Meena, took the drastic step around 6:00 pm in the evening, approximately a kilometer away from his residence.

Subsequently, the body was transferred to the mortuary of the community health center for a post-mortem examination scheduled for May 10, 2024, based on input from the deceased's relatives. The police have highlighted concerns regarding the youth's mental state, indicating that further details will emerge after thorough investigation.

Following the incident, villagers gathered at the scene, where the train halted for approximately 15-20 minutes. Upon notification from local village head Lalit Meena, Head Constable Babulal May arrived at the site to conduct an investigation.
